SARC WEB APPLICATION SYSTEM
The SARC Web Application system is TEMPORARILY DOWN while it is being updated with the 2020–2021 SARC template and data. The system cannot be accessed while it is being updated.
On October 12, 2021, the California Department of Education (CDE) sent an email to the Superintendents, Direct Funded Charter (DFC) School Administrators, Nonpublic Nonsectarian (NPS) School Administrators, and the registered 2019–2020 SARC Coordinators regarding the annual School Accountability Report Card (SARC) User Account Registration process for the upcoming 2020–2021 SARC Report, due February 1, 2022.
During the fall of each year, all County Superintendents, District Superintendents, DFC School Administrators, and NPS School Administrators of active schools/local educational agencies (LEAs) that maintain any of grades kindergarten through grade twelve (K-12) are required to annually register on the SARC User Account Registration web page (https://admin.sarconline.org/Coordinator/CoordSearch.aspx) for a secure SARC user account (i.e., username and password) to obtain access to the online SARC Web Application system for the new SARC year. The user accounts of the authorized registrants will provide them with the capability to create additional user accounts on the SARC Web Application system, if needed.
For security purposes, the SARC User Account Registration system will ONLY recognize registration by authorized registrants (i.e., County Superintendents, District Superintendents, DFC School Administrators, and NPS School Administrators, as listed on the California School Directory).
During the fall of each year, all previous SARC user accounts will expire and will no longer allow access to the online SARC Web Application system. Therefore, annual registration for a SARC user account is required even if the SARC Coordinator(s) has not changed from the previous year.
Note: The 2019–2020 SARC user accounts have expired and will no longer allow access to the 2019–2020 SARC Web Application system.
DATE SYSTEM TO BE ACTIVATED
The 2020–2021 SARC Web Application system will be activated sometime during late November/December 2021.
Note: This is an anticipated timeframe and is subject to change. Should this timeframe change, the new timeframe will be posted on this web message.
When the 2020–2021 SARC Web Application system is activated, an email notification will be sent to the Superintendents, DFC School Administrators, NPS School Administrators, and to those listed on the CDE Accountability Report Card listserv.
