Built in 1914, Loma Portal has a long history of nurturing excellence in education. Our dedicated staff members are committed to providing a quality education for all students.
Our active foundation, the Loma Portal Foundation, made up by parents and staff members, supports teaching and learning in our classrooms and sponsors a number of evening family events, which students and their families are able to enjoy. The Foundation has also supported and funded on-going technology at our school site.
Loma Portal Elementary School continues to provide an academically rich and dynamic education to all of its students in its unique, historic atmosphere. Over the years, its students have became astronauts, doctors, civil engineers, architects, Board of Education members, and swimmers of the English Channel....and they continue to change the world every day.
