About Our School
Juliet is originally from Connecticut and has taught and led in schools in Boston and Washington, DC before moving to San Diego to attend High Tech High’s Graduate School of Education where she earned her MA in School Leadership. During her graduate work at High Tech, Juliet was the school leadership resident and interim director at High Tech Middle Chula Vista. She then became the director at High Tech Middle North County where she worked until she had the opportunity to open High Tech Middle Mesa.
Juliet loves working with young people - especially middle schoolers! - to uncover their potential, explore ideas, build joyful communities, and create meaningful work. She is honored to work with our amazing students, teachers and families!
Juliet enjoys running (pretty slowly), any type of puzzle (math, crossword, mysteries), and laughing with family and friends.

- Statewide assessments (i.e., California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress [CAASPP] System, which includes the Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments for students in the general education population and the California Alternate Assessments [CAAs] for English language arts/literacy [ELA] and mathematics given in grades three through eight and grade eleven. Only eligible students may participate in the administration of the CAAs. CAAs items are aligned with alternate achievement standards, which are linked with the Common Core State Standards [CCSS] for students with the most significant cognitive disabilities); and
- The percentage of students who have successfully completed courses that satisfy the requirements for entrance to the University of California and the California State University, or career technical education sequences or programs of study.
