About Our School
Welcome to Margaret Heath Elementary School!
We are very proud of our community of students, parents, and teachers. Our mission statement proclaims our commitment to excellence in academics and personal character, “Margaret Heath Elementary School is a community
dedicated to nurturing respectful, responsible, and resourceful learners who are collaborative problem solvers and effective communicators who think critically and creatively.”
We have a community that acknowledges the importance of biliteracy and multicultural awareness. Our richness in culture and character is honored throughout the school year and celebrated each month. This wealth of diversity and character building enhances our academic programs. Using the state and district standards, we give our students a strong academic foundation while developing their creativity and critical thinking skills. Our teachers are committed to learning each child's strengths and needs. From this information, they create a classroom environment that both challenges and supports every student.
As our parents you also play a very important role in the success of our students. As our students' first teacher, you support the mission and vision of our school. Additionally, you provide a wealth of cultural knowledge that enhances their experiences at school. We look forward to collaborating with you as we work together to build our future 21st Century Learners.
